The Career Development Committee is planning a half-day Career Development Symposium entitled ``The Right Stuff". The Symposium will be held on June 4th, 2002 just prior to the start of the 19th Annual Scientific Session of the AACA in Gainesville, FL
Invited speakers to the event will address such topics as:
- How to obtain clinical experience
- Multimedia in clinical anatomy: New tools for our trade
- Carving a career niche in clinical anatomy: Looking beyond the walls of medicine
- Search committees: What are they looking for?
- Training new anatomists: A paradigm shift for the new millenium
Please support the efforts of the CDC by bringing the Symposium to the attention of colleagues and students in your department who might be interested in becoming a mentor or attending the sympoiusm as a registrant.
To help the CDC plan effectively, if you intend to participate in the Symposium as a registrant, please send a confirmation email to David Porta ( dporta@bellarmine.edu ). He will ensure that the Continuing Medical Education Office at the University of Florida, Gainesville sends you official registration and housing forms.
